NINE CHILDREN KILLED

Rec. Dec. 15. New York, Dec. 14. A message from Crescent City (Florida) states that nine children were killed and' abont 30 others injured when a goods train going at a good speed struck a crowded school omnibus in a heavy fog at a level crossing to-day. Seven children, three belonging to a single family, were killed otitright, and' two others died later. Several of the more seriously injured are not expected to survive. The parents, v/ho mostly are citrus farniers, became hysterical at the scene of the tragedy. The dead were so disfigured that id'entification was possibls only through their clothing.
