FRENCH VICOMTE LOST WHILE FLYING TO PARIS

(Rec. Dec. 13, 10.5 p.m.) London, Dec. 13. Ships vainly searched the English channel throughout the night for Vicomte Charles de Manneville, who left Croyden in a private aeroplane yesterday morning for Paris, where his wife is expecting a child. The vicomte is 30 years of age and is a partner in an American banlcing firm. He is a son of the Comte de Manneville, a prominent figure in the French diplomatic service.
