Dunedin, Tuesday. Fpur ships, the Canadian Chalengep, the Port Gisborne, the Meiko Maru and the Poolta, were not worked to-day because in a sbortage of waterside labour yesterday, noliunion men were employed to eomplete the gangs. Even with this extra labour the Canadian Challenger was unable. to operate all her hatches. It is hoped this afternoon to- start unloading the Post Gisborne with non-unionist labour. ' - The disputes committee will ipeet this afternoon.
