EXPENSIVE WORK AT THE DISARMAMENT CONFERENCE CHAIRMAN'S EXPENSES

Replying to a question in tbe House of Commons Sir John Simon said that the total expenditure on the Disarmament Conference to date from the League of Nations funds was 124,505 Swiss francs, whereof • 73,271 francs had been paid tp the president, not including the cost of his secretariat staff or entertainment expenses.
