AJ UUi'CJ — rector), Mr. T. T. Garland ("Uncle Tom"), Mrs. Basham (Aunt Daisy), Mr. W. Hindman (sports announcer), Messrs C. McCarthy and S. Cotton (operators) and Miss Joyce Wisdom. Th'e notices of dismissal state that no reference to the matter shall be made over tl\e aid and no farewell messages shall he broadcast to listeners. "This will be felt keenly especially by those who have heen giving their services free to the station," said a member of the staff. "The courtesy of ia friendly 'goodbye' to listeners would have heen appreciated." . No action has yet heen taken in regard to the "friendly road" services conducted by the Rev. J. Scrimgeour. There are about 6000 listeners who are members of the "Friendly Road." The drastic curtailment of the hours the station will be on the air will also be a severe blow to listeners.
