SUPPLIES FOR REDS
CIVIL WAR LIKELY Shanghai, Nov. 22. In view of the disturbed Fukien situation the Nankirig Government has ordered the police at Shanghai, Peking, Hankow and Nanking to take extra precautions to secure the maintenance of peace, particularly in consequence of the Fukein people's Government affiliation with the Communists. It is reported the Fukien regime has concluded an Armistice with the Communists, by which Fukien will supply the "Reds" with 300,000 dollars worth of salt, a similar amoimt of medical supplies, and 100, 066 lolr Iars worth of ammunition, in order to stave off Japan ese intervention. It is feared that civil war in Southern China is inevitable with 'the alignment of the Fukien and Kwangsi forces against Kwangtung.
