SHOCK IN ITALY
POPULATION FRIGHTENED (Rec. 8.55 p.m.) Rome, Nov. 23. A strong earthquake shock was felt at 2.10 ia.m. over a wide zone in the provinees of Pescara and Chieti. The cpi-eentre was in the town of Casalborbino where the population rush'ed into the streets in its night attire. There were no casualties.
