MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES INSTRUCTED TO TAKE WIVES BIG SMUGGLING FRAUDS

(Rec. 7.50 p.m.) Berlin, Nov. 23. A student's duelling association with a membership of 70,000 has been formed in order to arrange duels for the training of students in Nazi-ism. The Nazi Church Council has ordered that divine service in Protestant churches in Schlesweig-Holstein should begin and end with the Nazi salute, "Hail Hitler." The pastor will give the salute and the congregation will return it. The Burgomaster at Frankfurt has ordered 1500 bachelors municipally employed to marry on the grounds that by remaining single they are keeping niarried men out of positions where they could support families. The Tenneberg court imposed fines aggregating £1,600,000 and imprisonnient for 16 years on 21 smugglers at the 'close of the biggest smugg'ling trial in the history of Germany. The gang had smuggled large quantities of tobacco, tea and cocoa from Holland.
