Officially described as empty, a gas cylinder aboard the Marama is intriguing customs and shipping authorities here, follawirig instructions from New Zealand authorities that it must not be landed but that it must be returned' to Auckland without fail. Nobody can solve the mystery. Eventually while unloading, the innocent looking cylinder was discovered and immediately impounded to be returned intact by Friday's boat.
