MARYLEBONE DEFEATS SIND BY 92 RUNS

Calucutta, Oct. 23. The M.C.C. touring team to-day defeated Sind by 92 runs. At the close of the second day's play Marylebone, who had deelared their first innings closed with 307 for five wickets, had lost two wickets for 63 runs in their second venture. Sind in their first innings compiled 189. Continuing to-day, M.C.C. deelared" with eight "wickets down for 140 runs (Barnett 54). The collapse of the tourists was due to their attempt to score fast and force a win. Requiring 258 runs for a win, Sind were dismissed for 167 runs.
