ASSASSIN AND WIFE MEET TRAGIC END
Belgrade, October 2d. A man and woman were killed by a shattering explosion in a peasant'c bouse near Zagreb. The deceased's father is alleged to have confessed tbat his son murdered Dr. Neudorfer in August and was also planning to assassinate the Minister of Mines. A search of the ruins revealed a veritable arsenal. A Belgrave message on August 24 stated : An unknown assassin to-day fired three shots at Dr. M. Neudorfer, a f ormer Minister, at his residence near Zagreb, and killed him. The crime was committed while an nccomplice distracted the attention of Dr. Neudorfer's wife. Both miscreants escaped. Frost Damage Two severe frosts in Hamilton have caused extensive damage to crops and gardens.
