LONDON SCEPTICAL
FINANCIAL MYSTERIES (Rec. 11 p.m.) London, October 24 The Daily Telegraph's city editor says: "London bankers and exchange experts have discovered many mysteries in President Roosevelt's statement. Ilowever, two main points emerge. The first is that the dollar is not going to be re-valued yet awhile and the second is that tbe main aim of the N.R.A. policy appears to be the raising of tbe level for farm products. First impressions both in London and in Continenatl circles were that the statement definitely meant inflat:on in one form or another and the depreciation of the dollar in terms of foreign currency. London banlcing circles in general are sceptical of the pi'oposition of a managed currency. A similar proposal was mooted here a v/hile ago by advanced economists but was destroyed.
