BUYING BUSINESS
(Rec. 11 p.m.) Washington, Oct. 23. Negotiations are under way for tbe extension of the sum of 5,000,000 dollars in Government credit to the Soviet Union for the purcbase of American factory and farm products during tbe next five years. The purchases include about 400,000,000 dollars worth of macbinery and mechanical supplies and about 50,000,000 dollars worth of cotton, some cotton cloth and live stock.
