Chatterton, of Hinemoa St., accompanied her husband, Archdeacon Chatterton, to Napier last week to attend the annuaj meeting of th'e Waiapu synod. ' ■ News has been received that Miss B. Evtans and M)iss M. Mjitchell left England last week on their return journey to Neiw Zealand and expect to arrive home at-the end of November. Mrs. R. Aiken, Wairoa Ro'ad, who has spent several weeks holiday in Gisibomie, is now visiting Wanganui land ds the guest of Mrs. W. Gallen, Gonville.
