I Prime light-weight cattle were better j value. > Extra choice ox sold to 18s per ; 1001b; choice and prime, 15s 17s; .'secondary and plain, 12s to 14s; prime [ young cow and heifer beef, 15s to ! 17s; secondary, 10s to 14s. Extra heavy prime steers ranged from £6 17s 6d to £7 10s; lighter, £5 17s 6d to £6 15s; light, £4 12s 6d to £5 15s; small and unfinished, £3 to £4 10s; extra heavy prime young cows and heifers, £5 5s to £5 17s 6d; heavy, £4 7s 6d to £5 2s 6d; lighter. £3 10s to £4 5s; light, £2 10s to £3 '7s 6d; others, 30s to 45s.
