Carnival Displays

The opimon that there naa been rather an over-balance of trade displays in the decorated vehicles section at the Christmas Carnival and that privately decorated vehicles had been rather pushed into the background was made by Cr. L. Woolliams at last evening's meeting of the Rotorua Borough Council. Cr. Woolliams suggested that better prizes should be offered in the privately decorated classes and offered to donate £2 2s towards this purpose Cr. J. Banks, chair" man of the Advancement Committee, said that the committee had already given attention to this matter.
