WINNERS IN COMPETITION A novel competition arranged by the De Luxe Picture Theatre has been very enthusiastically supported by Opotiki residents. The competition consists of the best storyj embracing all the titles of the picture production listed on the monthly calendar. Three money prizes of 10s, 6s, and 4s and six consolation prizes in the form of free passes are being given. The winners of the June competition are as follows: Mr. A. B. Manning, 1; Mr. Rex. Jones, 2; Miss E. Kirkbride, 3. Consolation. Miss M. Walker, Miss E. Mulhern, Mr. H. Robinson, Miss Jean Armstrong, Mr Alan Sanders, Mrs A. A. McCaldon.
