BASKETBALL
CLUB MATCHES PLAYED The second of the series of interclub basketball matches was played last Saturday in the school grounds, Misses R. Bonner, M. Penny and Pirritt being the referees. The results were as follows: — Old .Pupils, 19 v. High, 11; Pirates, 9 v. St. Joseph's, 12; Old Pupils B, 16 v. Convent, 2; High School B, 8 v. St. Mary's, 7; High School C, 2 v. Kia .Toa, 31. The third series of inter-club matches will be played on Saturday, June- 24, and on the following Saturday, July 1, Whakatane High
school will play O.D.H.S. in a points match for the Bay of Plenty shield.
