USEFUL HINT
Here's a useful suggestion for the housewife when polish has run out and the stove wants a shine-up in a hurry. Take some ordinary black boot polish and add a little boiling water to it and apply to the stove in the ordinary way with a hrisk polish. The result is most gratifying.
