CH AMPION SHIP FINAL. PRESENT ATION OF TROPHIES. A large number of enthusiastic spectators foflowed the final of the toiu-nament open ehampionship between Mrs. J. Wilson, of Auckland, and Rotorua's captain, Miss S. Snodgrass, last ThUrsday afternoon on the Arikikapakapa links. The match. was keenly contested until the last hole, where Miss Snodgrass was successful in carrying off the honours by one up. At the presentation of trophies on the conclusion of the ehampionship match, the captain, on behalf of the members, expressed th'e club's gratifioation at having such a satisfhctory numher of players competing ixj. the tournament and commended the fine sporting spii'it that had prevailed throughout the fixture.
