TWENTY CLUBS REPRESENTED AT CONFERENCE OF i FEDERATION

Wellington, Friday. At a conference of radio listeners of New Zealand 18 delegates were present, representing 20 clubs and as- , sociations. It was -decided to form a New Zealand Federation of Listeners. The Wellington delegates, having attended without instruction on the poinfc from their club, said they would hold their decisions for ratification, but they had little doubt that . they would be confirmed. It was stated that the federation would commence with over 15,000 listeners. Wellington would be . the lieadquarters. The following officials were elected: President, Mr. H. D. Bennett (Wellington) ; vice-president, Mr. A. R. Cliff (Palmerston North) ; North Is- • land delegate, Rev. G. Scrimgeour (Auckland) ; South Island delegate, Mr. Booth (Dunedin) ; secretary and treasurer, Mr. W. Fortune.
