PREMIER DEPARTS
DEPARTURE YESTERDAY Wellington, Friday. The Rangitata, carrying members of the New Zealand delegation to the- , World Economic Conference, left at noon to-day for London. The members of the official party are: The Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes and Mrs. Forbes, the Hon. R. Masters and Mrs. Masters, Mr. G. C. Rodda, Assistant Secretary to the Treasury, Mr. C. A. Jeffrey, private secretary to the Prime Minister and Dr. R. M. Campbell, private secret- ■ ary to the Minister of Finance. Those present on the wharf to bid farewell to the delegation were, the" Aeting Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates and Mrs. Coates, members of Cabinet and their wives, the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sir Charles Statbam, members of the Legislature, members of the faniilies of Mr. Forbes and Mr. Masters, heads of departments, and a large number -of personal friends. As the Rangitata left cheers were called for members of the delegation. These were given enthusiastically and acknowledged from the upper deck by the Prime Minister.
