LYCEUM CLUB

MUSICAL AFTER'NOON The Te Puke Lyceum Club held an enjoyable musical afternoon in the club room, Kin'g's Buildings, on Tuesday afternoon. The musical items included a pianoforte solo by Mrs. Mark, a song by Mrs. L. Booker, and •a duet by Mesda'mes Todd and Webster. A guessing competition was won by Mrs. Todd and Mrs. Ball. A dainty afternoon tea, supplied by Miss Bush, was served during the course of the afternoon. Members present were:^ — Mesdames Mark, Montgomery, Sinclair (Auckland), Bailey, Mends, 'Randell, Ball, Vercoe, Todd, Webster, Anderson, Booker, McLoughlin; Miss Mark and Miss Baker.
