KNAGGS AND KELLY WIN CH AMPION SHIP PAIRS UNPLEASANT CONDITIONS As a result of the final game against G. French and Budd played yesterday morning, Knaggs and Kelly have won the Rotorua Bowling Club's championship pairs title for the 1932-33 season. Yesterday 's igaine was played in a cold westerly wind and on greens which were a trifle heavy following overnight rain. In consequence both teams experienced difficulty in finding the green, the winners being particularly handicapped in this respect in the first five heads when they were •eight down. In the following heads, however, steadier drawing reduced the leeway and on the thirteenth, both pairs were twelve points apiece. Kelly and Knaggs scored a four, on ihe next and although Budd secured two on the fifteenth, Kelly steadily increased his advantage and on the twentieth head had an unassailable lead of ten points, giving himself and Knaggs the season's championship. The score card read3 as follows: —
