PREDICTION BY LEADER OF OPPOSITION IN AUCKLAND

Auckland, Saturday. A general election in New Zealand within twelve months was predicted by the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. H. E. Holland, this morning, when addressing meetings of relief workers. "A year ago I would not have beLieved it," he said, "but to-day it is my opinion that within the coming twelve months we will be facing a general election." Mr. Holland urged the need of organisation, so that when the time eame, whether in three months or twelve months, the Coalition Government would be swept out of office. He said the supreme problem was unemployment, and asserted that the- people had not been given accurate statistics concerning the numbers aetually workless.
