They state the Breslau affray was accompanied by an attempt to re*~ vive parties. Other accounts, emanating frpnt Frankfort, state that it is untrue that acts of terror have been committed. W orkmen are continually being' beaten and the entire district is terrorised. Anyone spealdng the truth risks a fgarful bealing, imprisonment or even death. The only wish of thousands of Germans is to . leave Germany, but the new passport regulations render this difficult. Despair exists among J ews who are not allowed to leave.
