Sir Austen Chamberlain declared 'that Germany had met her fate because of overweening ego-centric vanity, and determination tp impose "her will on the rest of the world. ' "We see again the same war spirit ' being kindled, rendering it pseless for her to come asking for favqurs or concessions." he said.
