NOVEL PARTY

CAMPFIRE TEA. A novel party was given hy Miss Joan Bertram at her home, "The Mount," last Saturday afternoon, when she entertained some of h'er friends to tennis and a campfire tea out-of-doors. Tea was carried out in true camping spirit, one of the main items on the bill of fare being fried saulsages and "chipies," pronounced "marvellous" by all who tasted them. Afterwards, dancing was held on the spacious, verandahs. This, together with novelty games, kept a merry spirit moving throughout the evening. Among those present were: Miss Jean Pearce, Miss Muriel Cooney, Miss , Betty Bertram, Miss Hazel Ford, Miss Doria Griffiths, Miss Erima Bertram, Mesisrs. Lindsay Randerson, Gordon White, Douglas Lunn, Sidney Innes (Hamilton) and Br.zn Randerson.
