The Farmers1 Co-operative Auctioneering Co., Ltd. report: — At Putaruru stock sale on Friday, February 10, a good yarding of cottle came forward, with all classes selling at late rates. Sheep: A full yarding, with store lambs :again keenly sought after. Pigs: An average entry, with' rates very firm. Quotations: Breeding sows 30s to £2 7s 6d; good stores 26s to 28s 6d; smaller stores 20s to 23s 6d, slips 14s to 18s, weaners 8s to 11s. Sheep: — Fat lambs 10s 6d to 11s; forward cond. B.F. lambs 8s to 8s 3d; woolly m.s. store lambs 7s 5d to j 7s lOd; medium store lambs 6s ld to )7s; fat ewes 5s 7d to 6s 3d; 2-tooth ewes 11s 3 d to 12s 6d; 2-tooth wethers 12s 6d, Southdown Rams ign. to llgns. Cattle: Light fat steers £3 to £3 10s; heavy fat cows £3 3s to £3 11s; lighter fat cows and heifers £2 to 2 8s; killable cows 30s to 35s; heavy boners 21s to 26s; lighter boners 11s to 18s; heavy bulls £2 10s to £2 17s 6d; lighter bulls 30s to £2 5s; Jersey heifer calves 22s to 28s.
