A large yarding, considerably more than the advertised number was offered to a full attendance of buyers from all3 p arts of the Bay of Plenty, * and every pen was disposed of under j keen competition, at full market rates. We Quote: — 4 aird 6 tooth' wethers 9s 7d to 11s 3d; srnall 2-tooth wethers- 7s 8d to 8s ld; prime fat ewes 10s 2d to 10s 6d; light fat ewes 8s 6d; small 2-tooth ewes 7s 8d to 8s ld; 4-tooth ewes 11s 5d;good 5-year ewes 7s 9d to 9s ld; others 6s 8d to 7s 4d; mixed age ewes 7s 4d to 8s lld; culL ewes 4s 7d to 6s 4d; fat lambs 9s 4d to' 12s 6d; good store lambs 7s 9d to 8s 6d; small store lambs 6s 6d to 7s 6d; cull lambs 4s 7d to 5s 3d. The top phice for 4-tooth ewes 11s ' 5d and fat lambs 12s 6d was obtain- j ed by Messrs Sladden Bros. Taneatua.
