The President of the Aero Club, Captain Morris, paid a tribute to.Sir Charles Kingsford Smith's New Zealand flight, and advocated that the Federal Government should go out of the way to secure his services. "It is a crying shame," he said, "that men of his calibre should have to seek fresh fields for a livelihood. His exploits are too well known to seek repetition."
