Auckland, Wednesday Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., of Auckland, report as follows: — "At our weekly Westfield fat stoclc market held to-day, ox beef was yarded in small numbers and as a result the sale proved a very lceen one and values, appreciated f'ully 15s to 20s per head. Cow and heifer beef was offered in about average numbers and here also the demand was good with values better by 2s per 1001b. "Extra choice ox sold to 19s per 1001b; choice and prime, 17s to 18s; just killable, 14s to l6s; prime young cow and heifer beef, 16s to 18s; just killable, 10s to 15s; extra heavy prime steers ranged in price from £7/12-8 to £8/2/6; heavy prime steers, £7 to £7/10/-; lighter prime, £6 to £6/17/6; light prime, £5 to £5/17/6; small and unfinished steers, £1/12/6 to £4; extra heavy prime young cows and heifers, £4/7/6 to £4/12/6; heavy prime cows and heifers, £3/15/ to £4/5/-; lighter prime cows and heifers, £2/15/- to £3/12/6; other killable cows, £1 to £2/12/6."
