THE RANGERS GIRLS WIN BADGES

Captain (Mrs.) A. E. Martin, of the Opotiki Rangers, has reeeived word from Sister Hands that six of her rangers, namely, Dorothy Lee, Gladys Carruthers, Jean Mclntosh, Ngaire Hollard, Delce .Julian and Freda Johnson, have passed their "child-nurse" examinations for which they receive hadges. f "'Sister Harris, herself awarded the 1 marks, which were exceptionally high, showing that the girls had taken trouble over their work. The rangers were trained by the Plunket nurse (Nurse Strachan) who has certainly taught them efficiently, as there were no failures. Captain Martin is to be congratulated on the splendid way she has managed the rangers in the short time they have been formed, and the girls upon the enthusiasm they have put into their work. I " "
