BRITISH GOVT. CONSIDERS MAIL LINE WITH AUSTRALIA

i Rugby, December 21. Sir P. Sassoon, Under Secretary for Air, in reply to a question in the House of Commons, said it was impossiblo to give a definite forecast regarding the proposed British-Aus-tralia air mail, but it was helieved that it would he in operation within a few months of taking a decision. An interim offer of the Royal Dutch Indian Airways to provide a service pending the establishment of a Bri-tish-Australian air mail was under consideration. The Government was in consultation with the Australian Government.
