TRAMS AND BUSES TO BE OFFERED TO PRIVATE ENTERPRISE

Sydney, Dec. 21. During a debate in the Assembly on the Government's transport policy Mr. M- F. Bruxner, Minister of Transport, said the Government is prepared to consider offers by private enterprise to take over the trams and buses. If someone came along with an offer and would give adequate safeguards and a sufficient guarantee that the services would meet the full requirements of the public the Government would consider it.
