SEVERAL LARGE AREAS IN WESTRALIA UNDER WATER

Perth, Dec. 20. Following very heavy rains parts of the East Kimberley, Gascoyne and Murchison districts are flooded. Numerous washaways- occurred. A train was derailed near Meekatharra, where the water ran four feet over the line. The engine sank irito mud until the water entered the Lre boxes. - Traffic was disorganised. A rnan was drowned when attempting to cross a flooded creek.
