Rec. Dec. 8. London, Dec. 7. The Times' ericket writer says: — "It would be unwise to encourage extravagant hopes, for the Australians' form must he false, or else the hatsmen are wanting. Bradnian's absenee enormously affected the teani's power. The hatsmen throughout apparently were worried, but not intimidated, hy the fast bowling at the leg stump, which was pertectly reasonable and implies no unfairness."
