Hamilton, Tuesday. Messrs Dalgety and Company, Limited, report having held their usual weekly stock sale at Frankton saleyards on Tuesday, December 6, as under : — Fat Sheep: — An average yarding. All good quality wethers sold at advances on late rates. Fat ewes sold at late rates. Extra prime wethers made up to 14s; medium weight wethers, lus 3d to 12s; unfiished wethers, 8s 9d to 9s 4d; ordinary fat ewes, 4s 6d to 6s; unfinished and store ewes, 3s 6d to 4s. There was a fair yarding of spring lambs, including some pens of very heavy prime quality, which sold under good competition at higher rates. We sold on accounk of Mr. W. Sklenars, Te Kowhai, a pen of extra prime lambs at 14s 4d; other heavy lambs made 12s to 13s; medium weight fat lambs 10s 6d to 11s 6d; unfinished, 3s 6d to 9s 3d. Fat cattle: — An average yarding. 7x beef sold at late rates, but young eow and heifer beef were higher than last week. Medium weight steers, £4 5s to £5 Is; young cows and heifers, £3 5s to £4; aged cows and moderate quality, 35s to £2 15s; light fat cows, 27s 6d to 37s 6d; runners, £2 11s to £2 14s; vealers, 12s to 22s. Store cattle: — A small yarding. A line of choice Jersey 15 months old heifers were penned, but met with a *eak demand, and all were passed at uetion. Boners and odd cattle sold at late rates. Pigs: — There was a large yarding

of fat and store pigs. Baconers sold on a par with last week's rates while porkers showed a slight improvement. We quote: — Heavy baconers, £2 to £2 2s; medium baconers, 36s to 38s; light baconers, 30s to 35s; heavy porkers, 27s 6d to 32s 6d; medium porkers, 24s to 26s; light porkers, 18s to 21s; large stores, 18s- to 22s; medium stores, 15s to 17s 6d; best weaners, 10s to 14s 6d; others, 8s to 10s.
