HAPPY CUB MEETING

The O putiki Cub Pack met in the Parish Hall on Friday evening under the supervision of the lady C.M., Miss J. Kelly, and the assistant C.M., Miss E. Kil'kbride. A very happy evening was spent, the first part of the programme consisting of work, Tha cubs were dismissedl to the corners of the hall where the "sixers" and their seconds undertook to teach some of the new members, how to tie knots. Two favourite cuhbing games, "Bandarlog," "Shere Khan and Mowgli," were played and much enjoyed by the boys. The "sixers" then took turns in letter forming, it being the work of each "sixer" to place the boys on the floor to form the letter named by Akala. The cubs were dismissed after making arrangements to meet again on Wednesday. afternoon at 3.15 p.m.
