Auckland, Sunday. The world champion broadsider, Eric Langton, aged 25 years, of England, reeeived slight concussion when the front tyre' of his maehine burst during an exhibition at the opening of the Western Springs speedway last evening. He was taken to Auckland Hospital, and his condition to-day was not serious. The crash oceurred prior to the commencement of the racing, when four Englishmen, E. Langton, T. Stevenson, G. Gregory and W. Phillips were engaged on an exhibition ride., Langton and the maehine turned over several times, the rider being injured when his mount struck him.
