The first prize went to A. N. Rutledge, Christchurch Times and Star, the second to G. H. Williams, Christchurch Press and the third to G. Burns, Christchurch Times. - .The coinpetition is held each year and eovers work done by journalists in "the course of duties and published in New Zealand newspapers.
