— By Telegn-ph — Oocy.-lght)
i London, November 26. The Atlantic Shipping Conference decided not to continue fully the heavy cuts in rates announced earlier in the year. I It was agreed that a 6 per eent. increase be made in first and seeondclass fares as the reduced rates had failed to materially increase passenger traffie, causing several members of the conference to threaten to resign. The decision was generally acceptable. London, November 26. After two days' conference, the Atlantic Shipping Associatioh agreed to a six per cent. fares increase from December 5.
