GARDEN PARTY.

A Garden Party in connection with the Methodist Church was held at Mrs. A. E. Payne's residenee on Tuesday afternoon. Cloelc golf and croquet were played on the lawn, the Rev. G. R. Harris winning the golf and Mrs. A. E. Payne the croquet. A doll competition and a sponge cake competition were won by Mrs. R. Vanstone and Mrs. A. E. Payne. The Ladies' Guild provided a very dainty afternoon tea.
