COMBINED CHURCH SERVICE.
A combined prayer meeting of the Presbyterian and Methodist Churches and the Salvation Army was held in St. John's Church on Wednesday evening. The Rev. D. N. McDiarmid (Presbyterian) presided, tbe Rev. G. R. Harris led the prayers and Capt. G. R. Thompson (Salvation Army) gave the address. The sixth united Church meeting of this year in which all local minisfeers will take part, will take the form of a special Christmas Service in the Salvation Army Hall on December 21.
