JUNIOR W.D.F.U.

The Junior branch of the W.D.F.U. which has recently been formed h'as already shown its ability in organising functions, by holding a very suecessful evening of Flag 500 and dancing in the Farmer's Social Rooms on Tuesday. The hostesses of the Junior W.D.F.U. provided the supper and managed the evening in a very able manner. The proceeds are to raise money for the funds of the new branch. Mr. C. D. Brown was in charge of the eards, and Mr. J. Man-

nix played for the dance numbers. Miss J. Lovell and Mr. W. Tennant won a Monte Carlo and the winners of the Flag 500 were Misses Fraser, N. Holland, Messrs. C. Burnett and H. Newth. Consolation prizes were awarded to Mr. and Mrs. Warrington^ Mrs. Butterworth and Mr. Burnside.
