SOCIAL EVENING

St. Mary's Church Guild held its final social evening of flag 500 and dancing in the Lyric Hall o'n Wednesday. The room was erowded with dancers and the supper hall with card players. Confetti, streamers, and Monte Carlo dances added to the fun of the evening, Miss M. Parkinson and.Mr. A. Wylde, Miss J. Donovan and Mr. J. Anderson being winners of the Monte Carlo waltzes. The winners of the cards were Mrs. F. Reid, Mrs. O'Reilly, Mrs. Russell, Mrs. Thornton and consolation prizes were awarded to Mr's. Dick, Miss K. Quirk, Mr. B. Armstrong, Mr. Gleeson.
