Cosgrave (Leader of the Opposition), moved in the Dail that Ihe Government i-hould relieve farmers from })aying annulties until the Biitish tariii is withdrawn. Checrs greelod Mr. De Valera's announcement of eaily h'gislation perpetually roniitting a large proportion of the farmcrs' payments to the State. The in falments due to June 80, vr'ould be funded for a certain period at 41 per cent.
