delegates confer BRITISH PROPOSALS TO BE SUBMITTED AT GENEVA FAR-REACHING SCOPE
Rec. Nov. 15. Rugby, Nov. 14. The British Minister for Foreign s Affairs, Sir John Simon, who reach- ' ed Geneva to-day had long conversations with the president of the Disarmanxent Conference (Mr. A. Henderson), the ehief American delegate (Mr. Norman Davis) and various other delegates. He announced that ; a new British contrihution to the gexir eral , solution of ,the disarmament problem Will be submitted on Wednesday to a meeting of the hureau. The actual proposals which Sir John Simon will make are expeeted to be of far-reaching scope. It, however, is understood that they have been designed with a strict regard to the actualities of the situation and are not to he regarded as counter proposals to those which have been made by other delegations.
