VIOLATIONS OF LIQUOR LAW IN UNITED STATES

Rec. Nov. 15. Vancouver, Nov. 14. Governor Rolph of California, is presenting pardons to one thousand prisoners for infractions of the Volstead Act, the breaking of which is no longer considered a crime. Michigan is freeing 300 dry law violators. An agitation has also started for the pardon of 21,000 persons confined in Federal prisons for liquor violations.
