Rec. Nov. 5, 5.0 p.m. London, November 4. In the House of Lords, Earl de la Warr, Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture, said the Ottawa meat arrangement was of a temporary character. The Government proposed to call a world Meat Conference in 1933 to pait the arrangement on a permanent basis. Nohody realised that it would be necessary so soon to take a step which could not have been attempted but for what had been done at Ottawa.
